About the Role
To protect and enhance BHP's reputation with our key stakeholders through digital communications channels.
Key Dimensions
- Supporting the team with digital channel management, insights and reporting
- Producing engaging digital content about our business, employees and assets, using approved copy, video and photography, that demonstrate BHP’s value
- Working with the content leads to publish content to external BHP digital channels
- Collaborating across the digital team and wider business to script, shoot and produce video
- Assisting with monthly digital content planning
- Editing new and existing content
- Support ad-hoc campaigns for digital (content development and website publishing) for local and global channels
Core Accountabilities:
- Creating written, video and photographic content.
- Supporting with organic content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Daily content curation.
- Community management, digital reporting and online inbox management as dictated by the shared team roster.
- Website support.
- Participating in the digital and global communications content planning.
- Working with the communications teams on digital communications best practice.
About You
Qualifications:
- Relevant courses, degrees or on-the-job experience
Experience, Technical Competencies & Skills
- 3 to 5 years working in a social media, digital content or digital communications role for a large and/or complex organisation
- Strong, proven written skills
- The ability to edit video and photos
- Experience managing social media channels and / or website content
- Experience managing communications plans
- Excellent, proven stakeholder management skills
Languages
- English. Spanish a bonus.
