Seeking Paramedic!!
Full-Time
Baptist Health Floyd, Emergency Medical Services
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
In this role, the Paramedic provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured. Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician’s assistant, and emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or utilizes approved EMS protocols if transporting a patient. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice. While not performing transports, the EMT will augment Emergency Department staff and function as an ER Technician.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
State certified EMT-P course completion
State of Indiana EMT-P License
BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI required
PALS & ACLS from AHA, ARC, or AHSI required
NRP Certification– required within 6 months of hire
Valid Driver’s License
Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Indiana Board of EMS
At least two (2) years previous experience preferred
