CT Tech. Full time. 0830-5pm Monday through Friday. No weekends, holidays, or call required!
Job Duties:
With limited supervision and working alongside another CT technologist, executes computed tomography images. Gathers histories and prepares needed information to complete the patient’s record. Notifies appropriate persons for equipment services and preventive maintenance. Order and stock supplies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performs computerized tomography exams as required.
2. Assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in department.
3. Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information, filmed images and archiving.
4. Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating with the radiologist and all others as needed.
5. Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy.
6. Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
7. Reports malfunctions and problems to the proper persons, including management personnel.
8. Maintains replenishment of supplies as needed.
9. Carries out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology.
Active KBMIRT at time of hire. ARRT within 90 days of hire.
CT Registry is required.
Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
