What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Food and Clinical Nutrition position at BHS Baptist Healthcare System?
Job Description:
This key position will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and provide daily leadership to the food services and Clinical Nutrition departments. The Director will have oversight of department budget and capital projects, staff development to ensure a high level of quality and service, ensures compliance with applicable regulatory bodies, and works to implement quality control and process improvement activities and initiatives. Relocation funds are available.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in dietetics, Food Service Management or related field required. Will consider eight years of food services leadership experience in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of five years related leadership experience.
Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetics. Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager required within one year of hire.
ServSafe Manager Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
RD applicants will require Kentucky and Indiana licenses within 6 months.
