Job Description:
- Creatively uses adult learning principles and project management skills to design and deliver engaging organization-wide education and training for professional development of employees and leadership.
- Translates learning requirements into effective learning solutions and documentation. Serves as a resource regarding instructional design and delivery best practices, supportive media, learning management systems, authoring and web tools, and learning technology support.
- Serves as the Support Services educator and provides educational opportunities to develop and enhance written competencies for Support Services and Clinical Support Services.
- Serves as the Administrator of the Learning Management System as well as the Program Director for the Front-line supervisor orientation program, and other educational activities facilitating education and competency management, documentation, and evaluation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Training & Development, Instructional Design/eLearning, Education
- BLS
- 3 years teaching/instructional experience, curriculum development, and instructional design
- Hands-on knowledge and experience developing engaging and interactive training materials in a variety of formats with authoring technologies, intranet design tools, and multimedia applications such as Adobe Presenter, Lectora and/or Toolbook, or similar product (e-learning software)
- Experience in e-learning concepts and tools
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Education or Learning Technology
- Basic HTML coding skills preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- 2 years Learning management system administrator experience preferred
- 2 years healthcare related experience preferred
