Job Description:
To provide pleasant and efficient incoming communication and outgoing communication for internal and external customers.
Job Duties:
- The ability to perform overhead pages in a clear concise manner.
- Answer phones promptly and transfers to correct department.
- Ability to page emergency codes/alerts in a clear and calm manner while communicating with hospital supervisors and physicians while following proper guidelines.
- Responsible for notifying the “on call” staff members for all designated departments.
- Is also responsible for maintaining the emergency cell phones for the hospital.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
