Position: Respiratory Therapy Tech Student
Shift: PRN
Job Description:
- Assesses the appropriateness of therapy and makes recommendations.
- Performs, assesses, and instructs the effective administration of oxygen, aerosol medications, humidification, suctioning, and chest physiotherapy.
- Provides patient/family education concerning the safe and effective use of equipment where applicable. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
- Must be a student licensed by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care as a limited License Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Kentucky and in accordance with the provisions of KRS chapter 314A.
- Must maintain active BLS training.
