Job Description: I.Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required: Security Officer-Full-Time High school graduate or equivalent required. Courses in security and/or law enforcement is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Code Violet (training provided by Baptist Health of Corbin) II.Skills and Abilities Required Minimum of five years security experience required. Must have training in security procedures. Must be able to work/communicate effectively with others. Must establish/maintain good relations with hospital staff, patients, their families, visitors, and the public. I.Position Summary Position will function as a working coordinator, primarily responsible for supervising other security officers. Position will be required to perform the duties of a security officer to ensure the protection and safety of all hospital patients, visitors, staff or other persons on or within the hospital properties.
