Security Officer

Job Description
Provides security and protection to the person and property of those entering Baptist Health Paducah and secondary buildings associated with the operations of Baptist Health buildings, equipment, supplies, and report any misuse of any hospital buildings, equipment, and properties.
Job Duties
- Investigates all incidents involving criminal matters, completes incident report and reports such matters as appropriate to the proper authority.
- Required to subdue and/or de-escalate high stress, tense situations involving combative person(s) for an unknown period of time.
- Enforce or assist in the enforcement of hospital policies and procedures, as directed by administration, in a manner that will protect the legal rights of the hospital and the person involved.
Requirement
- High School Diploma or GED
- Kentucky Driver's license
Preferred Requirements
- Two (2) years' experience in the field of Law Enforcement, Security, Military and/or Corrections.
