Requirements for position are as followed:
A. Graduate of an allied health field program. Associate Degree program preferred.
B. Must be registered or be an eligible candidate for registry in Vascular Ultrasound through the following:
- Registry through either the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) within 3 months of hire.
- Applicants who are registered in another ultrasound registry, such as, RDMS-AB, RDMS, RDCS, or RCS must obtain their RVT or RVS within 9 months of hire.
C. Graduates of an accredited vascular ultrasound program must be registered within 3 months of hire.
