Position Overview : This position requires regular travel to customer job sites to provide on-site electrical services and support.
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Service Technician with a strong background in industrial maintenance. In this role, you will perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks at client sites. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who excel in problem-solving and enjoy working in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability and safety.
Install and commission electrical equipment, adhering to schematics and technical documentation.
Diagnose and resolve issues in power distribution systems and equipment.
Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service and recommend system improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Document service work, including diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in industrial electrical systems.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an industrial maintenance electrician or electrical field service technician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, control systems, and power distribution.
Familiarity with PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and HMIs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Certification or license as a journeyman electrician (preferred).
