Job Summary
The Supply Services Specialist ensures the performance of the supply chain from order to shipment as well as customer service. This requires the Supply Services Specialist to track inventory and orders as well as forecast future supply needs. The Supply Services Specialist works in a lead capacity, overseeing a variety of different employees and departments within the supply chain to ensure that the overall process runs smoothly.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in hospital purchasing, receiving, technical materials management and distribution. Duties also include mailroom operation and linen inventory management.
Education
- High school graduate required.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, and computer literate with Microsoft Office and Meditech.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to receive criticism professionally.
- Excellent verbal, math, and communication skills. Ability to purchase, receive, access, replenish and distribute medical and non-medical products.
- Ability run reports and provide detailed analysis as required.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 8:00am - 12:00pm
