Summary/Objective
The Administrative Staffing Coordinator provides for the function of staffing Behavioral Health nursing units, maintaining staffing and other records. The Behavioral Health Nursing Director remains responsible for 7 days a week / 24 hours a day unit staffing and scheduling. Works in conjunction with the units, house supervisor, and Behavioral Health Nursing Director for staffing. Oversees intake technicians and develops processes in coordination with the Nursing Director. Provides general coordination and oversight of daily operations of the Intake Department. Coordinates with Intake Therapist, House Supervisor and Administration to facilitate effective patient flow in the Intake Department.

- Completes monthly working schedules for Behavioral Health Nursing units and reviews schedules with the Behavioral Health Nursing Director for final approval. Tracks and records holidays, requests for PTO and orientation periods. Assists with employee files for each employee.
- Assists in calling in staff when needed to fill vacant positions or calling canceled staff as directed by BH House Supervisor.
- Notifies Behavioral Health House Supervisor when needing direction for problems with staffing, complaints, or schedules. Keeps Behavioral Health House Supervisor/Nursing Director abreast of any excessive tardiness, absences, or other potential problems and requests. Will also monitor and print employee counselings as generated by Kronos for BH nursing director.
- Review and correct behavioral health nursing units payroll and staffing sheets, productivity reports daily, under the direction and with the assistance of BH nursing director.
- Develop, maintain and educate Intake staff on process and procedures required for admission to behavioral health. Provide ongoing daily oversight of intake staff and intake processes.
- Responsible for coordinating with registration, insurance verification and other applicable departments to troubleshoot and improve overall efficiency of Intake process and department.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
3 years related experience.
Required License/Certifications
