Responsible to efficiently operate all Site utilities equipment to minimize interruption and in compliance with applicable regulations. Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment Operation
- Monitor and document equipment performance following GMP document practices.
- Collect and analyze operating parameter to ensure optimum performance and maximize up time.
- Generate daily report and communicate abnormalities and opportunities
- Operate equipment following safety practices and operating guides.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and correct deviations.
- Perform environmental monitoring as required by Títle V and other regulations.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities associated to utilities equipment.
- Maintain Good housekeeping
- Monitor and document system performance
- Conduct aseptic water sampling
- Sanitize system as required.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify and correct deviations.
- Perform laboratory testing to corresponding utilities samples.
- Clean, organize and maintain housekeeping.
- Monitor HVAC systems utilizing the computerized BAS. Analyze HVAC parameter changes and take actions to avoid deviations.
- Conduct physical inspection.
- Generate Work Order to correct deficiencies.
- Monitor and control environmental regulatory parameters. Escalate any deviation
- Conduct sampling activities for UIC- storm water, Well, potable water, wastewater treatment, fuel, etc.
- Collect data for the preparation of periodic regulatory reports.
Requirements
- Associated degree on Instrumentation, Electricity, Industrial Mechanic, Science (chemistry or biology) or chemical operations.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Utilities operation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Spanish.
- Preferably, able to communicate in English.
- Need to communicate with others. Communicate equipment condition.
- Need to escalate and report deviation. Provide verbal and written report at the end of the shift.
- Require cGMP documentation practices.
- Works with minimum supervision.
- Analyze scientific parameters.
- Interpret deviation to established operating ranges
- Evaluate data to determine trending.
- Knowledge of cGMPs regulations ' overall industrial technical ' utilities equipment operations.
- Waste Water Treatment License, Potable Water License ' Driver’s License are required (and must be maintained).
- Use hand tools.
- Walk long distances.
- Require to inspect high (elevated) and low areas.
- Need to hear noises to monitor equipment performance
- Need to observe instrument and gauges
- Need to use Personal protective equipment
- Drive forklift and hand truck
- Handling of materials up to 50 lbs
- Work in exterior
- Could be exposed to rain
- Handles chemicals such as Boiler and Cooling tower treatment chemicals
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
