Overview

Represent Bi-Con Services, Inc in the natural gas industry, sustainable energy industries, and commercial/industrial facilities. Facilitate the development of existing customers and establish new customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, and cultivating strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners to enable the company to meet strategic goals. This position requires a strong background in construction, industrial, and design-build projects with a proven track record in business development, sales, and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to craft and deliver client-specific solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to enhance service promotion and establish new business relationships.
  • Coordinate marketing and business development activities targeted at specific markets.
  • Manage and update client and sales records.
  • Inform the management team of sales activities and provide estimated timelines for proposals and bids.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, new markets, and customer needs to strategically inform business planning.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and formulate strategies to secure significant projects across diverse industries.
  • Generate regular reports on business development, sales outcomes, and emerging market trends, providing a three-week forecast to senior management.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of business development, sales, marketing, or design
  • Preferred degree (2 years) in marketing or business development.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Previous B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Strong prospecting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, high integrity along with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task customer issues and visits.
  • General knowledge of the construction process; from preconstruction through project closeout.

Other:

  • General knowledge of Contracts.
  • Different types of construction: commercial, industrial, public, and private.
  • Project delivery models; design/build, bid build, etc.
  • Project estimate, development, construction and close out phases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as the ability to calculate and apply mathematical concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
