What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Bi-County Nutrition Program, Inc.?
Bi-County Nutrition is a non profit that feeds homebound senior citizens in Harrison County. We currently feed and deliver to approximately 550 senior citizens each day out of our three locations.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Manage delivery paperwork accurately.
- Must be able to lift approximately 25 lbs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds)
- Must be able to pass a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
