Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Co-Op to join our Material and Analytical Sciences department located at our Ridgefield facility. As a Co-Op, you will be working in a dynamic environment to evaluate biorelevant dissolution measurement of pediatric dosage forms with tiny TIM system.

Duties & Responsibilities
- He/she will be involved in activities to evaluate the applicability for pediatric programs on the tiny-TIM dynamic gastro-intestinal model (training and mentoring will be given).
- Research and select drug products with known clinical data, and utilize tiny-TIM to compare with published in vivo data.
- Evaluate which tiny-Tim methods correlate to in vivo data.
- Collect high quality data and summarize findings for department seminar.
Requirements
- Must be a current graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
- Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship.
- Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
- Major or minor in related field of internship
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
- Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.
- Experience with various laboratory equipment is required.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with general Pharmacokinetics
- Experience with Dissolution techniques
- Analytical wet chemistry experience
- HPLC analysis
