Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage budgeting and financial performance, including forecasting and expense control.
- Lead and develop a team of employees, providing guidance and support in achieving operational goals.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards in guest services and addressing any concerns promptly.
- When needed, recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance.
- Monitor guest feedback through surveys and reviews to continuously improve service quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests by promoting a culture of hospitality among staff.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software and property management systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with guests and vendors.
- A background in night audit procedures is advantageous.
