Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator with a strong focus on accounting-related functions to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the seamless operation of our accounting processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll processing, and general office administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to facilitate effective communication and coordination within our team and with external partners.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee payroll processing, including data entry, reporting, and compliance with company policies.
- Manage vendor and customer relationships, including handling inquiries, statements, and payment schedules.
- Maintain organized records for all financial transactions and assist with reconciliations as needed.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure compliance.
- Assist with expense tracking and financial reporting tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in AP, AR, and payroll processing is required.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Prior experience in office administration or a similar role, preferably in an accounting-focused environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
