The role, at a glance:
The Web Developer for Biamp will work under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager and is responsible for building, maintaining and updating company websites, website properties, e-Commerce, advising email and social media marketing campaigns and utilizing analytics data to inform best practices. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to understand website change requests into the website’s functionality is crucial. This Web Developer position will be responsible for the development and management of Biamp’s websites and for the implementation of projects assigned by the Digital Marketing Manager. How you'll contribute:
Create and maintain Biamp web properties, using Sitefinity, Liferay Rhythm, and WordPress.
Create new web pages for a variety of campaigns, launches and promotions, and other online channels.
Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies, web development, SEO and email marketing.
Explain potential opportunities and project risks to management.
Analyze website analytics and customer behavior to enhance conversion and create actionable recommendations based on findings.
Collaborate with other members of marketing/engineering/customer support/product management/IT/HR/management teams to create web content consistent with company branding.
Facilitate work with outside vendors/contractors who provide web development and support services.
Occasionally help manage marketing automation platform.
Gain a deep understanding of our products and the customer experience to think and speak from the customer viewpoint.

A successful candidate should have:
Deep knowledge of how to create responsive websites
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally in computer science, marketing, or a related field
At least 3 years of Front-End Development (HTML/CSS) (Backend web development is a plus)
Experience with REST APIs, both client and server-side
Experience working with modern front-end frameworks (like React and AngularJS)
Expert in creating full CSS and HTML layouts
Proven ability to deliver quality code within scope, budget and deadlines
Demonstrate consistent follow-through on internal assignments and initiatives
Ability to ask appropriate questions and communicate effectively to a broad range of people including users, designers, executives, product marketing, sales and technical staff
Can translate complex user requirements and functional specifications into a tangible design
Experience with table-free, standards compliant CSS layouts
Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization
An understanding of different web applications and the design constraints of each platform
Extensive experience & knowledge of Sitefinity CMS (version 12 or higher), Wordpress, Liferay Rhythm, InRiver PIM, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, e-Commerce, data source integration, APIs, and more
Knowledge and experience in marketing analytics platforms (Google, Marketo, HubSpot)
A strong understanding of adaptive web design and mobile strategies
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Some nice-to-haves:
Familiarity with MS Dynamics CRM integration with websites
eCommerce integration & maintenance experience
Experience developing and managing AI engines
Experience in professional AV industry
Experience with Unified Communications
Work environment:
This is an onsite position based in Beaverton, OR
Routine use of standard office equipment, may sit for long periods of time
Limited travel is required
