Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management/orthopedics (including dry needling and trigger point/motor point therapy), woman's health, mental health, herbs and patient care, with a focus on providing holistic treatment options for individuals suffering from various conditions. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing Chinese Medicine to promote overall health and well-being.
We are specifically looking for someone to work Sundays, with the option of taking a Thursday and Friday shift as well.
Friday and Sunday are flexible as far as shift hours.
Thursday we have a shift available from 2-7
Ability to see 2 patients/hour. Each patient is paid at $65.
Our Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experince, be well versed in a multi disciplinary clinic and be motivated to build their practice.
Our practice is exclusive to its members and requires someone who is capable of providing the highest quality of care and is excited to build their practice with our help.
Experience with herbs is strongly preferred
Experience billing insurance is preferred.

Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs.
- Develop and implement personalized acupuncture treatment plans and herbal formulas based on patient evaluations.
- Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy and acute pain management to alleviate discomfort. Knowledge of Estim, Dr Tan, Tung and 5 element a plus.
- Perform physical examinations and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment throughout the treatment process.
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and other complementary therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture practices and continue professional development.
Requirements
- Valid certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to acupuncture practices.
- Experience in pain management and orthopedic techniques
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth within the field of acupuncture.
