Van Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van or similar vehicle to transport passengers or deliveries as scheduled.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by performing regular inspections and reporting any issues.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger needs and inquiries during transit.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient scheduling and routing of trips.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.
• Previous experience in school bus driving, paratransit services, or limousine driving is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when assisting passengers or handling deliveries.
• A commitment to safety protocols and procedures while on the road.
• Excellent time management skills to adhere to schedules and deadlines.
