We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team at Bibb Medical Center. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are in compliance with all health and safety regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential to your success in this role. This is a part-time position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and infection control
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor
