Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance checks on hospital equipment and systems to ensure their functionality.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, plumbing issues, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hospital staff and address urgent repair needs swiftly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Record and document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with hospital policies.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of facility-related reports and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate larger repair projects and preventative maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance-related fields preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance procedures.
