JOB SUMMARY
The Supervisor must work with minimal supervision and must provide leadership and support for all Career, Technical and Agricultural Education programs at the school level while working with all individuals in a professional manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, abilities and skills necessary for the position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist Director with preparation of CTAE Consolidated Application for all secondary schools.
- Process and maintain all records required by the State Department (GaDOE) related to CTAE.
- Process/approve requisitions for supplies and equipment purchases, professional leave requests, expense statements, field trips, inventory reports, etc.
- Participate and assist with preparation and content for CTAE advisory board meetings.
- Relay and enforce staff policies and programs established by GaDOE.
- Work with principals, CTAE director, department chairs, and teachers in planning, scheduling and implementing CTAE career pathways and courses at middle and high schools.
- Direct and coordinate CTAE school budgets.
- Work with teachers in the improvement of individual competencies.
- Maintain/approve CTAE teachers’ annual reports and programs of work through the CTAE Resource Network (CTAERN.org) web-based program.
- Update Certified/Classified Personnel Information (CPI) data collection system each year in order to report all faculty and staff members to GaDOE since CTAE funding is based on the accuracy of this report.
- Coordinate CTAE activities for the middle and high schools assigned.
- Attend seminars, conferences, job-related training and other professional learning programs to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job effectively and efficiently.
- Work with school improvement initiatives.
- Works to improve performance of assigned schools in Perkins Core Indicators.
- Monitor work-based learning programs including school stores.
- Plan, monitor and maintain effective CTAE labs including updating equipment and software.
- Prepare programs for Industry Certification to include bi-annual advisory committee meetings and active Career Technical Student Organizations.
- Coordinate and administer End of Pathway Assessments.
- Other duties as assigned by CTAE Director.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the director.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree is required. Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable, successful experience in a CTAE Program. GaPSC certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education is desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of CTAE programs and their requirements
- Familiarity with GaDOE policies and procedures related to CTAE
- Knowledge of budget management and financial processes
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage and support CTAE programs effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with principals, teachers, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in using web-based programs like CTAERN for managing reports and data
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capability to coordinate and administer various CTAE activities and programs
- Competence in maintaining accurate records and reports for state compliance.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain clearance certificate from GaPSC.
- GaPSC certification in Educational Leadership – Tier I at L-5 or higher or be eligible for a non-renewable Educational Leadership while completing Educational Leadership.
Salary/Terms/Benefits:

- Salary based on certification and experience; placement on the Adopted Salary Schedule and position supplement(s).

This position is grant funded and is contingent on availability of funds.
