Lawn Care Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and grounds maintenance, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to mow, trim, edge, blow, install pinestraw/mulch, trim shrubs, plant shrubs and be physically able to work outdoors
• Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper irrigation practices.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for effective groundskeeping tasks.
• Conduct tree trimming and care to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

• Proficiency in lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, and more
• Experience with garden maintenance including planting, and pruning.
• Familiarity with hand tools and landscaping equipment used in groundskeeping tasks.
• Knowledge of tree trimming practices and tree care essentials.
• Ability to operate heavy duty mowers machinery effectively.
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week

Experience:

• Lawn care: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Montgomery, AL 36116 (Required)
