Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accountable for all daily operations of the food service operation.
- Train and develop team members - proactively seek out learning opportunities: books, mentorship, courses, experiences, and self-reflection.
- Demonstrate leadership and promote teamwork.
- Create an environment where team members are empowered and delighted, who in turn, delight our guests with genuine hospitality.
- Effectively address employee relations issues.
- Ensure inventory levels are properly maintained in order to increase sales volume and control inventory.
- Manage the cleaning and maintenance of food service equipment.
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
- Be directly responsible for all fund reconciliation and inventory audits.
- Prepare or supervise preparation of all required paperwork.
- Maintain safety and security of the restaurant and document any accidents or incidents that occur, when faced with hostility extend hospitality, nonetheless.
- Ensure that all personnel know and follow all company policies and procedures.
Assistant General Manager (AGM) Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1 year of food service experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends and holidays in order to provide management coverage when the Store Manager is not present.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to bend down, stoop low, and stand for at least 8 hours.
- Ability to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 30 lbs.
