YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A HOUSEKEEPER

As a Housekeeper at Fellowship Community, your daily tasks will include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in designated areas, ensuring all cleaning supplies are stocked, and following safety protocols to provide a hygienic environment. You'll be responsible for dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold our high standards of cleanliness. Additionally, collaborating with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and communicate any maintenance needs will be essential.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS HOUSEKEEPER JOB

To thrive as a Housekeeper at Fellowship Community, you'll need a basic understanding of federal, state, and local skilled nursing regulations and previous cleaning experience in healthcare settings. High school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and proficiency in English are essential. Physical abilities such as mopping, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 60lbs are required. Knowledge of Geriatrics and Dementia is a plus.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Basic knowledge of federal state and local skilled nursing regulations.
• Cleaning experience in a hospital skilled nursing facility or other related facility is preferred.
• High school or equivalent education
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to read write comprehend and speak English.
• Must be able to sweep dry and wet mop and climb a ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
• Must have an understanding of Geriatrics and Dementia.
• Successful completion of orientation.
• Team oriented and service focused

• Meets requirements of Pre-hire assessment.
