About the Role
Join our Managed Services team working on permanent projects at the Microsoft campus in Redmond, WA. This is a full-time, on-site role from Monday to Friday. Biblioso provides healthcare and benefits while the vendor works on Microsoft campus. The compensation range for this position is $62,400 to $68,640, plus benefits. Please note that this role is exclusively for direct hires on W2 and is not open to C2C or any third-party arrangements.
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving freight and deliveries, handling hardware, managing inventory, and supporting logistics coordination tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Receive Freight/Deliveries
- Receive daily courier deliveries and shipments from carriers and freight-forwarders.
- Audit newly received shipments for damage and count validation.
- Scan packing lists for each received shipment for customer and inbound coordinator’s tracking and records.
- Attach proof of delivery (POD) to delivery requests in the internal IMS tool.
- Put away equipment into its inventoried location.
Scan/Checkout Hardware
- Support will-call requests, allowing customers to pick up equipment they have previously checked out.
- Scan inventory to capture serial numbers and part information, reallocating server hardware in the inventory database.
Azure DevOps (ADO) Tickets
- Action customer work-order tickets, which may include updating the ticket, coordinating with the customer to resolve exceptions, inventory discovery, or hardware moves.
Hardware Returns
- Receive hardware returns from CHIE labs and personnel, scanning inventory, reallocating, storing, and updating ADO tickets.
- Reconfigure server commodities to a known working state if required.
- Put away equipment into its inventoried location.
Delivery Requests
- Create and/or facilitate delivery requests to order equipment from inventory.
- Update internal systems (IMS and ADO) when actioning a delivery request.
Logistics Coordination
- Assist the Logistics Coordinators with various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with electronic ticketing systems
- Experience with electronic inventory management systems
- Comprehensive computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), video conferencing platforms, email management, and proficient typing skills
- Familiarity with IT hardware components preferred
- Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety when handling sensitive computer components
