Responsibilities include the ability to work independently on assigned metrics, utilization of different systems and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Key competencies for this position require searching and developing tools to present analysis findings to support objectives connected to international logistics.What You'll Do : Responsible for assigned lanes to execute all International Air, Ocean, Trucking and Intermodal shipping requirements for both Import and Export country accountsResponsible for high value non-stock international transfer of goodsCreate and maintain the necessary documentation and forms for the lawful execution of all import / export activities, such as, and not limited to SLI’s, Hazardous declarations, Commercial Invoices, Proformas, etc.Work closely with contracted freight forwarders and carriers to meet estimated delivery datesProvide the management team with standard and exception based KPI’s as assignedPartner with Procurement and Deployment to manage assigned lanes and assist with onboarding new vendorsManage weekly, monthly, and year end reports to support Dashboard data feeds and key business functions as assigned by Manager to identify metrics, trends, and best practicesMonitor freight forwarders dashboard metrics to recognize trends, challenges or issues that require attention and / or corrective actionCreate, maintain and report KPI’s to identify internal and external opportunities for improvementManage Freight bill exceptionsPrepare monthly root cause analysis for invoicing issuesPrepare data to support QBR’s with forwarders and carriersProcess international claimsIdentify and implement continuous process improvements initiativesProvide landed cost analysis for proposed new product launches and or lanes (Work with Compliance Team)Participate in testing new system enhancementsCreate standard operating procedures for new processes / system features / tasksMaintain master list of standard operating procedures related to logistics activities and functions. Name and save documents to comply with file numbers / naming conventionWhat You'll Need : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required3-5 years of related work experience or education in International Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management requiredAction oriented, results drivenDemonstrated ability to identify issues and implement corrective action with timely follow upCapability of accomplishing day to day tasks utilizing various enterprise software systemsBasic competencies in Microsoft WordAdvanced competencies in Excel (including Pivot Tables, V look ups, etc.)Capable of creating PowerPoint decks to illustrate metricsBIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
