Job Description
As Senior Payroll Analyst, you are responsible for the timely and accurate shared processing of all salaried(semi-monthly) and hourly(weekly) employee payrolls in the US and Canada.
- Processing includes regular, annual incentive, stock option and vesting payrolls, executive compensation, merit increase and retro cycles, shift differentials and all on-off payments. Hourly paid employees utilize ADP Time & Attendance system.
- You handle/assist with ongoing inpat/expat taxation updating, hypothetical tax scenarios, relocation balancing, general ledger processing, employee/employer account reconciliations on a continual basis, working with various business partners to ensure accurate postings and timely reconciliations.
- You handle state/sui/local tax registrations and research respond to tax notices across all business sectors. Quarterly/annual balancing for W-2’s, process any prior qtr adjustments, W-2c’s as needed. Monitor system feeds from Global HCM for accuracy. Facilitates audit requests by providing records and documentation to auditors. Team member for all system implementations/upgrades.
- You also provide a vital role for the company in ensuring employees are paid timely and federal/state compliance requirements are met and oversees day to day workflow to ensure seamless processing/reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree completed minimum
- 10 years related Payroll experience as a minimum, including supervisory experience.
- Experience in handling complex executive compensation payments & taxation.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll processing, compliance requirements, taxation, solid decision making
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment dealing with highly sensitive and confidential material.
- Ability to use knowledge to explain and resolve complex situations.
- Knowledge of ADP WFN for time & payroll processing.
