RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities :

• Conduct activities in the following categories : physical (exercise), social, recreational, intellectual / educational, creative, entertainment, and special requests of the residents.
• Invite and / or remind residents to participate in planned activities.
• Chaperone activities outside the community.
• Operate a Bickford vehicle to transport residents to activities where applicable.
• Assist in the development of a Monthly Activity Calendar that incorporates activities 7 days per week and includes evening and weekend activities.
• Coordinate food needs for scheduled activities with the kitchen.

Qualifications :

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines.
