We are seeking a compassionate Wellness Nurse to support resident care within our branch. This role ensures that residents' daily medication needs are met in a dignified manner, allowing them to live their lives to the fullest.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and administer medications according to physicians' orders as outlined on residents' MARs.
- Familiarize yourself with Bickford's policies and procedures regarding medication management and apply the 'Six Rights of Medication Administration.'
- Maintain accuracy when using the eMAR system for medication administration.
- Cultivate open communication with clinical leaders for clarification and guidance on resident medication administration and care.
- Provide direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Possess an active license as a LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Will participate in additional training or education, if required by specific states.
- Hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
