Job Title: Part-Time Developer

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Developer to support one of our clients in Houston, TX. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working with legacy systems and modern frameworks to support the translation of an existing Java-based web application into a new C# and Angular-based solution. The ideal candidate will be available to contribute 20 hours per week over the course of four months, with the possibility for extension based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and understand a legacy Java web application codebase.
- Translate backend functionality from Java to C#.
- Convert frontend logic and design to Angular.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Follow client-specific development standards and participate in code reviews.
- Complete development tasks within estimated timeframes.
- Provide regular status updates to the technical lead.
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, C#
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
- Database: Oracle SQL, SQL Server
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Azure DevOps
Note: While experience in all listed technologies is preferred, we are open to candidates who bring strong core development skills and are quick learners.
