The Warehouse Specialist is responsible to verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. The specials will prepare items for shipping by assembling, packing, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise via appropriate carriers. The Specialist will receive items by unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material.
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
1. Receives inbound material from vendors, customers (RMA), or intercompany warehouses accurately and promptly, per company processes and procedures
2. Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items while reporting/recording any discrepancies
3. Generate and process RMA orders in ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy
4. Prepare Customs documentation for export shipments, when required
5. To accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner, ensuring transaction accuracy
6. Pick and pack orders to be shipped to customers while identifying packaging requirements, including preparation of all required shipping documentation
7. Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area
8. Communicate with various personnel, departments, vendors and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities
9. Identify and count stock materials as listed, as participate in ongoing cycle counting efforts
10. Pick up and deliver materials, to/from company facilities, utilizing company vehicles as required
11. Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
1. Be able to understand drawings to aid in product identification, when required
2. Must have, or ability to obtain lift equipment license
3. Ability to understand and execute documented processes/instructions
4. Understanding of warehouse operations, including lean and 5S concepts
5. Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices
6. High school diploma
7. 3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving in manufacturing warehouse setting.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
