Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
- Assisting employees with computer problems
- Setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other devices
Network Management
- Installing and maintaining networks, including routers, switches, and access points (as needed)
- Managing security with our IT company
- Managing internet connectivity and troubleshooting issues
System Administration
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and system access
- Updating software and hardware to ensure security and functionality
- Review monthly and quarterly IT reports to ensure updates and security are up to date
Cybersecurity
- Educating staff about best practices for security
- Setting up and Scheduling security trainings
Software & Application Management
- Installing, updating, and maintaining business software
- Developing or customizing applications to meet company needs
- Training staff on how to use software effectively
Hardware Maintenance
- Repairing or replacing faulty hardware
- Managing inventory of computer equipment
- Installing and configuring new devices
Data Management
- Ensuring data is stored securely and is accessible when needed
Project Management
- Planning and executing IT upgrades or system implementations (as needed)
- Coordinating between all offices to meet tech needs
Compliance & Documentation
- Documenting IT procedures, policies, and best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support and IT support roles
- Strong skills in software troubleshooting and computer management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop support
- Knowledge of computer networking, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with computer hardware and related technologies
