Bidwell Environmental, LLC is a successful environmental, health and safety consulting firm. We are seeking candidates for a full time Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Officer for swing shift coverage for a large scale construction project located in Queens, NY. Responsibilities include onsite EHS inspections and compliance monitoring of construction work. Candidates must be able to work independently, multitask, manage additional onsite EHS staff and possess excellent leadership, communication, time management and computer skills.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 - 15 years experience in construction EHS oversight and possess a working knowledge of state & federal environmental regs & OSHA regs. Current 40-hr Hazwoper, OSHA 10-hr Construction, Confined Space Entry & RCRA training are required. Familiarity with NYCDEP requirements is required and CHST certification is preferred.
Excellent computer, communication and organizational skills are a must, including proficiency with MS Office software and electronic project management systems. Candidates must be self starters and quick learners and demonstrate an ability to be a team leader in a fast paced environment.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
