Lead Lawn Care Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure needs and expectations of our clients are being met
• Be able to adjust daily schedule to ensure optimal efficiency
• Operate and help maintain new, top of the line trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and hardscapes.
• Perform snow removal
• Carry out scheduled services as needed in order to meet expectations in an environmentally sound and safe manner.
• Ensure proper procedures, paperwork and documentation are followed according to company policies and state regulations.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery, such as mowers, bat wing mowers, trimmers, tillers, tractor and bushhog and chain saws.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to operate company trucks.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Must have a good attitude and be dependable.
• Be able to operate a vehicle and pull a trailer.
• Work day 7 am - 4 pm depending on the client's schedule and weather.
• Monday - Friday unless weather issues during the week. OT typically available.
• Year around work.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous experience in landscape or related fields preferred; supervisory experience desired
• Registered Technician license category 3B Turf a plus but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Valid Indiana Drivers License with good record (minor infractions okay)
• Familiarity with the techniques and equipment used in lawncare
• Able to handle the physicality of our work (lifting 50-80 lbs consistently, adverse weather conditions, extensive walking)

• Pay starts at $21.00 per hour (depending on experience).
