What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMINISTRATIVE RECEPTIONIST position at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists?
Essential Job Duties:
Inventory and order supplies for multiple office locations. Must have reliable transportation and able to lift and maneuver 30-40 pounds on a regular basis.
Prepare materials, set up meeting space, and order/receive/set up food for Board Meetings, Physician Group Meetings, and departmental meetings.
Assist with physician call schedule changes and notifications.
Assist with record keeping for physician extender compliance program.
Assist with credentialing, i.e. complete appointment/reappointment applications, obtain signatures, etc.
Draft and disseminate physician and administrative communications.
Assist Director of Clinics with range of items from scheduling meetings to assisting with communications with nurses, medical assistants, physician extenders, physical therapy, and other departments.
Answer administrative phone calls and greet guests, patients, staff members, and others in a friendly and professional manner.
Daily use of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must be organized with a strong attention to detail and work quickly under pressure with frequent interruptions.
Regular hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Will need to work late or arrive early two to four times a month to assist with meetings and attorney conferences.
Coordinate, order, and pick up lunch regularly for physician and management meetings and other meetings/events as needed.
Assist Administrative Assistant team.
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 – 2 years’ experience in an office setting assisting preferred.
1 – 2 years' experience in medical or related field preferred.

Must be able to travel to all clinic locations and work overtime hours as needed.
