Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support project management activities across various construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and be skilled in project coordination and management software.
Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize construction management software, including Prolog and HeavyBid, for effective project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate budget forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers to facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare reports on project progress, identifying any potential issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in project scheduling and coordination.
- Experience in construction estimating/blueprint reading is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
