We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support our sales and services teams in deploying our technology strategies in the market. This role will focus on supporting our Panel Saw and Edgebander product lines. You will work closely with internal teams and external distributors to ensure technology applications align with business needs and objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a technical resource for the sales team and distributors, providing guidance on product compositions, productivity analysis, and service opportunities.
- Support the implementation and deployment of new technology systems and applications.
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing educational support on processes, technology, and service portfolios.
- Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and service teams to recommend technology solutions that drive business success.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and external partners.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Your Impact
- Ensure product specifications and requirements are effectively communicated to the sales team and customers.
- Streamline sales processes by preparing machine templates tailored to country-specific needs.
- Provide market-specific insights to support sales strategies and positioning.
- Organize and deliver training to enhance technical knowledge and sales autonomy.
- Support local events, showroom demonstrations, and case study development in alignment with HQ guidelines.
- Gather market feedback, analyze competitive pricing, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Leverage CRM tools to enhance sales efficiency and performance.
- Optimize travel schedules to maximize client engagement and technical training opportunities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Automation)
- 3 years of experience in a Technical Sales Support role
- Prior experience with Panel Saws and/or Edgebanders is a bonus!
- Must be available for 50% travel (primarily domestic, occasional international)
- Must be fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
- Knowledge of mechanics/electronics related to industrial machinery
- Knowledgeable of business processes and functions
