We are looking to add a full-time Forklift Operator to our team in Lansing, MI. This position will operate a powered industrial truck to load and unload materials and move them to and from storage locations, production areas, and distribution sections for shipping and receiving.Scheduling : (1st Shift) Sunday-Thursday 3 : 00 am 1 : 00 pm (3rd Shift) Sunday-Thursday 8 : 00 pm - 6 : 00 amAccountabilities : Load and unload materials from truck trailers & railcars.Stack items safely in the correct storage bays.Locate and move all stock of products.Identify product damages.Work in loading and production departments as assigned.Utilize RF Scan Gun for all functions and movement of material.Responsibly follow all safety procedures and policies.Qualifications : Experience operating 6,000 to 8,000 PIT is required.Hydro-static forklift experience preferred.General lumber and / or building materials knowledge is preferred.Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in all elements of an outdoor environment year-round.Reading, writing, and math competency.
