Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift

Biewer of Lansing, LLC is looking to add a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician to our team in Lansing, MI. This position will maintain all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance throughout the Treatment plant, inside and outside of all buildings and departments, and equipment with predictive and preventive maintenance to prevent any downtime from mechanical failure.

Scheduling:

Sunday-Thursday from 8 PM – 6 AM

Accountabilities:

• Ensure high-quality workmanship is being properly performed.
• Perform preventative and regulatory maintenance on all equipment, buildings, tools, and any/all machinery.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance problems and/or repairs.
• Order supplies and parts as needed.
• Practice Lock Out-Tag Out, hazardous waste, and material handling procedures.
• Utilize Manager Plus Software for all work orders and completing necessary paperwork.
• Complete all work orders promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping in all site locations
• Responsibly follow all safety procedures and policies, work together with co-workers, and report all accidents or unsafe conditions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of previous maintenance experience required.
• Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Ability and desire to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reading, writing, and math competency demonstrated by a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
