Job Overview
We are excited to welcome a friendly, dedicated Customer Service Associate / Cashier to our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service, assisting with product inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. In addition to cashier duties, you will also assist with various airbrush shop tasks, helping our team maintain a smooth and efficient operation. Your ability to interact with customers, manage transactions, and support the airbrush process will directly contribute to our store’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need.
- Operate the cash register, processing transactions quickly and accurately.
- Keep the checkout area organized and well-stocked with supplies.
- Support in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring high product visibility.
- Demonstrate product features and answer customer questions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assist with airbrush-related tasks, including boarding shirts, locating stencils, and helping the airbrush artist during the design process.
- Dry and bag airbrush orders to ensure customers receive their products in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise junior staff as required, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Use retail math to handle cash and ensure precise transaction processing.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain excellent service standards throughout the store.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in retail or a similar environment is preferred.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
- Strong math skills for managing cash handling and processing accurate transactions.
- Ability to lead by example and supervise others in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with airbrush techniques or experience working in an airbrush shop environment is a plus.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and switch between roles as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 27 per week
