Role Description
This is a temporary VOLUNTEER remote role for Script Readers at Big Apple Film Festival. Script Readers will be responsible for reviewing and providing coverage for scripts submitted for consideration. Script entries include feature length, episodic and shorts. The role involves evaluating the content to help determine which scripts advance in the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
Qualifications
- Script Reading, Script Coverage, and Drama skills
- Experience in evaluating and analyzing screenplays and scripts
- Passion for independent filmmaking and storytelling
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of the film industry and trends is a plus
- Background in scriptwriting, screenwriting, or related field is beneficial
