Customer Service Barista with Alcohol Handling

Job Summary
We are looking for a versatile and customer-focused Barista with light alcohol service experience to join our team. This role involves preparing coffee and espresso-based drinks, serving pastries, and handling basic alcoholic beverage requests while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, and tea beverages
• Handle light alcohol service, including beer, wine, and simple mixed drinks
• Assist customers with pastry selections and ensure proper food handling and presentation
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with guests and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista and bar area
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and product rotation

Skills

• Previous with espresso machines and coffee brewing techniques)
• Basic knowledge of alcohol service (beer, wine, simple mixed drinks)
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience handling food products and following food safety regulations
• TABC and Food Handler’s Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Team oriented environment, everybody does a little bit of everything.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $7.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
