Security – Full Time Shift
We are looking for an additional member to join our security crew:
Monday - Sunday position – Availability needed on Weekends – Full Time Shift – Rotating Shifts
Do you enjoy working with the public and serving the community? You will help to conduct regular and random patrols around the campland, assist in monitoring and maintaining the front entrance and gate area, help ensure the safety of the campland property owners and guests, provide clear guidance to property owners on a variety of areas, report any suspicious incidences to your manager in thorough detail for documentation and recordkeeping, as well as help protect the campland property, staff, and the overall campland environment by keeping order, controlling access, and responding to emergencies. Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary duties include supporting the Chief of Security by serving as both a public relations representative for the campland by interacting with the public and presenting the company, the campland, and the rest of the security crew in a professional and respectful manner, as well as ensuring the safety and wellbeing of property owners and their guests; however, they are not limited and could at times require a variety of roles.
Requirements and Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- To qualify, you must be able to perform continuous physical activity at a reasonable pace, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds). Typical duties include working at the front gate, patrolling, responding to emergencies, interacting with the public to provide guidance on a variety of areas, and conducting yourself in a lawful, safe, and responsible manner while doing so.
- A driver’s license is required and a safe driving record needs to be maintained in order to be insurable.
- On-site transportation is provided.
- However, must have own reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Must be able to pass a preemployment background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
