Store Clerk/Cashier

Store – Clerk/Cashier – Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available

We are looking for additional members to join our store team:
Monday - Sunday position – Availability needed on Weekends – Full Time and Part Time Shifts – Seasonal (Primary store operating season is April through October)

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• In this role you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with customers, assisting with their questions and concerns, all while ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers, barcode scanners, credit card machines, as well as other equipment necessary to complete the sale and checkout process.
• Accurately and efficiently process transactions, calculate change, manage cash drawer, and prepare daily deposit(s).
• Maintain a clean and well organized work and store environment.
• Stock shelves and ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.

Requirements and Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be hardworking, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• To qualify, you must be able to perform continuous physical activity at a reasonable pace, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds).
• Must have own reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred candidate will be at least 18 years of age (others still encouraged to apply).

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
