Big Bear Restoration is looking for someone to join the team as a Mitigation Technician! We are growing the water, fire, and mold mitigation and restoration department. The Mitigation Technician completes water, fire and mold restoration projects in residential homes and commercial buildings. By providing quality and efficient work, you will become a part of the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform water, fire and mold production processes, demolition, and other labor-intensive tasks.
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
- Always adhere to safety and risk management guidelines.
- Communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisor.
- Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
- Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
- Perform production processes as directed.
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
Position Requirements
- Great teammate with excellent customer service skills
- Effectively communicate with others
- Basic math and computer skills
- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and over 21 years old.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance and complete a variety of physically demanding activities.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
- IICRC certification is preferred but not required.
Compensation
- $18-22/hr based on experience
