As an Early Child Care Bus Driver, you will:
- Follow local and state guidelines for transportation safety
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bus inspections and report maintenance concerts to leadership
- Follow the schedule assigned for pick-up and drop-off of elementary-aged children to local schools and during summer field trips
- Remain in compliance with Department of Motor Vehicle rules and regulations
- Support the center Director as needed in classrooms or with other delegated tasks
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
- Must maintain a good DMV record and supply Director with a copy of DMV record annually
- Demonstrated experience working with children, child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
- Must read, follow, and enforce the Policy and Procedure Manual
- At least six months working in a licensed childcare facility
- Early childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred
- Flexibility with hours and job responsibilities
